The school has a clear code of dress, which all pupils are expected to observe. The colours are:

•  Plain black trousers or skirt (no track suits allowed)

•  Plain black jumper/sweatshirt/top

•  White shirt, polo shirt or blouse

•  Dark footwear

•  Year 11 will select an alternative colour top each year

•  Pupils are allowed to wear one pair of small earrings and a ring

•  PE kit consists of : Indoor – dark shorts, white tee shirt, training shoes, Outdoor – dark track suit bottoms, dark jumper, appropriate outdoor footwear

All hats worn within the school buildings will be confiscated immediately.

The tutor is responsible for checking that the students are correctly dressed every day.

If a student is out of dress code then:

They should remain with their tutor on the first day and complete a selection of basic tasks.

  • Any period after the first day should be spent with their Head of Year and they will continue to complete basic tasks, in addition to copying out the rules for correct dress code.
  • Persistent offenders will have a standard letter sent home (copy to the Head of Year) and can receive de-merits
